The U.S. Embassy in Angola, in particular Ambassador Helen La Lime, welcomes Ambassador Agostinho Tavares da Silva Neto as the new Chief of Mission of Angola to Washington DC. On November 24, President Barack Obama accepted the credentials of Ambassador Tavares as the new Angolan Chief diplomat to the United States. The U.S. Embassy in Luanda considers the accreditation of the new Ambassador of Angola to Washington DC as a new opportunity for the continuous reinforcement of bilateral cooperation in the framework of our strategic partnership.
